While our standard secure links already prevent unauthorized access, password protection adds a deliberate barrier. Consider using it for:

Your clients trusted you with vulnerable moments. A password ensures that even if someone discovers the share link, they can't view the images without explicit permission from your client.

How It Works
Setting up a password-protected gallery takes seconds:
- Navigate to your album's share settings
- Toggle "Require Password"
- Enter a password (or let us generate a strong one)
- Share the link and password separately with your client
When visitors click the link, they see a branded password entry screen—not your images. Only after entering the correct password do they gain access.
Best Practices
Share Password Separately
Never include the password in the same message as the link. Send the link via email and the password via text message, or vice versa. This way, a compromised email account doesn't expose the gallery.
Use Strong Passwords
Our generator creates random, strong passwords by default. If you create your own, avoid obvious choices like the client's name or event date.
Rotate Passwords If Needed
Concerned about password sharing? You can change the password at any time. Existing sessions will be invalidated, requiring the new password for access.
Communicate the Why
Let clients know you're adding password protection for their benefit. Most clients appreciate the extra care, especially for sensitive content.
